Late last year saw the launch of our new O’Cahan branded products just in time for the Christmas trading period. The finest quality bacon and pork produced for us by the lovely people of Glenpac in the heart of beautiful County Armagh. Four very traditional products, reasonably priced with good margins for our retail partners. We have more planned for later in 2026
“Over the past few years I have heard so many comments from Irish consumers, right across the UK, saying that they really miss bacon from their childhood. Bacon that is cut thick, salty and well smoked. Additionally they seemed fed up with products that are not only bland but curl and shrivel up to nothing in the pan or under the grill. After extensive work with Kevin and his team at Glenpac I am really pleased with the end result and the feed back from trade customers and consumer has been excellent. I am looking forward to bringing more old style properly traditional Irish products to the UK market later this year. ”

Brent Irish Advisory Service (BIAS has been the O’Kane Family designated charity for a number of years now and this was evident again at the BIAS Annual Christmas lunch held at the Crown Hotel Cricklewood on Friday 5th December 2025. BIAS was founded in 1978 to help Irish emigrants find their way in a new country and continues to provide life changing support to hundreds of vulnerable Irish people every year.
“The BIAS annual Christmas Dinner would just not be the same without the generous donation of gift boxes and raffle prizes from O’Kane Irish Foods. The Years Supply of Barrys Tea is a particular favourite!”
Mike McGing
Chief Executive
BIAS
“We owe our entire business to the Irish community in the UK and it is only right that we now give something back. Our work with BIAS is tremendously rewarding for both our family and the wider O’Kane team.”

The O’Kane family continued its long association with the West London Irish Society (WLIS) at the recent annual fund raising dinner held at the Clayton Chiswick Hotel on 8th October. The gift boxes, hampers and raffle prizes were sponsored by O’Kane Irish Foods and just over £20,000 was raised on the night.
Established in 1953, the primary goal of the WLIS was to bring Irish emigrants together and encourage social interaction. This evolved into fundraising to support a range of causes and organizations that greatly benefit the West London Irish community. These include the O’Kane Family designated charity the Brent Irish Advisory Service.
“We are so pleased to have the continued support of the O’Kane Family, the gift boxes and hampers are a great addition to our events, bringing a real dose of nostalgia to everyone” Mick McCormack Chair WLIS
“The WLIS ball was the first big Irish event I attended as a young teenager, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Now as an adult, I acknowledge realise the fantastic work it does raising money for deserving causes.”
